Information Advent Programming Contest 2013
(I know I rarely ever post here, but I'm just cross-posting this from iDevGames...)

I've just received an email announcing the Advent Programming Contest 2013 (again organised by the IEEE Student Branch Klagenfurt with support from Alpen-Adria-Universit├Ąt Klagenfurt):

Wilfried Elmenreich Wrote:[T]he Advent Programming Contest is taking place again this year. In contrast to last year we decided to issue problems not at midnight but [on weekdays at 18:00] CET time ([and at 12:00] on weekends) - this should make less stress for solving the problems.

[...]

The event is open to everyone. If you want to participate, please register at http://mooshak.nes.aau.at/ This is an individuals competition, not a team contest! You can also join the contest after 1st December, [r]egistration will be still possible until December 24[th].

The contest will issue a new problem everyday from 1st December to 24th December, and solutions to those problems can be coded in C, C++, Java, Python, or Perl.

(The post announcing the contest is here.)
