writeToFile/URL to server?
Is it possible to use either writeToFile/writeToURL to store an array on a local file server (xserve)?

Do i need to be connected and loged in first? can i do that through cocoa given i know the user/pass?

Thanks in advanced.

Yes, three ways come to mind:
1) Copy via scp/sftp/ftp
2) Network mount via nfs/smb
3) Write a server app which runs on the XServe, accepts data and stores it itself.

3.) Can a user run an app located on the server? or do you mean a client app would communicate with a server app?

(I hate to ask such simple questions but i only have access to the server a couple days a week so its hard to test even small things.)

I meant have a client app communicate with a dedicated server application running on the XServe.

writeToFile/URL to server?
I am using cURL for my highscores on GL Golf, but they only upload about half the time and randomly, even though the console says it uploaded successfully Sad. It seams like there should be a solution and cURL should work, but I'm not sure why it does that, I am going to go shorten the timeout for the game ftp account, maybe that will help.

EDIT : I can't figure out how to do that in control panel, does anyone know how?
