Carbon Events & Handlers question

I'm using Carbon Events now and everything was going fine until I noticed that my application continues to receive and act on input when it shouldn't, i.e. it continues to accept keyboard and mouse events when it is not the foreground application and also when I have file dialog boxes open in it.

I'm essentially using code from Apple's Carbon Events PDF to install application event handlers for these events.

Does anyone know why this would be occuring? If more info is needed please let me know.

Sorted now. I was using InstallApplicationEventHandler when I should have been using InstallWindowEventHandler.
